Outline of the Web Design Process

1. Before beginning any work, we will discuss your goals and desires for the site. Generally, this discussion is conducted over several days via e-mail. Together we will prepare a plan that satisfies all of your needs.
2. After the plan is completed and approved, I will send you a final price along with a contract for the work.
3. I will develop your site. For projects of basic to moderate complexity, I can usually complete a test version of your site within one week of receiving all source materials from you.
4. When complete, I will direct you to a test version of your new website. At this time, you can suggest changes and share concerns.
5. I will make revisions based on your remarks.
6. You will be presented with the final version of your site, and, with your approval, your site will be released to the world. Payment is due at this time.
7. I will continue to host and perform basic maintenance on your website at no additional charge for one year. After that, you will be billed annually for hosting or maintenance service based on the features and needs of your site (you will know the annual fee after our initial consultation, and if you host with me, maintenance is free).
8. If you ever need additional updates or new features for your website, these can be added at a flat rate of $20/hr.
