Website Design and Development

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

I help all of my clients get listed on the Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft search engines. I also provide utilities to track search engine performance and help you optimize your site so that it ranks as high as possible. More about search engine optimization.

Website Hosting and Domain Registration

All websites need a host-- that is, a server (computer) that stays online 24 hours a day for 365 days a year distributing your page to whoever asks. Websites also need at least one domain name (www.yourname.com/.org) to identify the website. I provide hosting and domain registration services at competitive rates. Plus, I offer basic maintenance and technical support to all of my hosting clients at no additional charge. More about website hosting.

Maintenance and Technical Support

All of my web hosting clients are free to e-mail me at any time with maintenance requests or support concerns. I will answer your e-mail promptly (within 48 hours, excluding vacations) and implement basic changes to your website free of charge. Basic changes include changing dates, announcing new events on the homepage, updating the names of board members, etc. More complicated changes are billed at a standard $20/hr. rate in fifteen minute increments.

Online E-mail Access

Each of my website hosting clients receives e-mail accounts at their domain. I provide a webmail interface to those accounts so that e-mail can be checked online (like Yahoo! mail or Microsoft Hotmail). I will also help you set up programs like Microsoft Outlook or Eudora to download your website's e-mail to your own computer.

Mailing Lists / E-mail newsletters

For organizations and businesses that publish a monthly newsletter, I can provide an online list management solution. Visitors to the site can subscribe to the list and site owners can send e-mail to the entire list whenever they choose.

Detailed Visitor Statistics Collection

All of my websites automatically collect non-personally identifiable information of all of their visitors. My clients are then able to view simple statistical reports on the visitors to their site.

Document Preparation Services

Most clients provide digital copies of the information they want on their sites. If you would rather provide paper copies of text for your website or photographs, I will convert these to digital formats at a cost of $20/hour, billed in 15 minute increments.
